Bobbie Maxvill currently lives in the southern Nevada region. She started her creative journey in 2012 in a tile design in a summer art class. She loves crafting and from the first moment of learning about tile design she fell in love with the process. She developed a passion for using the Cuerda Seca technique in her tile design.

As she pursued her new found artistic talents in tile design, she found herself loving every aspect of this art form. She is contiually improving upon the Cuerda Seca techniques of tile design and the kiln firing process. She is also coninually learning more about tile design, color concepts and glazing. She has enjoyed creating tiles for her family and friends and as she continues to pursue tile design, she is encouraged not to stop.

 

She looks forward to creating new tiles, not only for her family and friends, but for those who are interested in having her create tiles for trivets, coasters, table design, game boards, wall art, floor art, table tops, backsplash or other functional pieces. She also  looks forward to the oppurtunities to teach others about the Cuerda Seca technique.
